Cleaning Your Paletteby Nolan Clark![]() There are many ways to clean your palette. This is the quickest way I know. ![]() Scrape off the excess paint with your knife and discard. ![]() Dip some toilet paper in turpentine. Don't use too little turps, use enough to dissolve the paint on the palette. I never scub the palette, it isn't necessary if you use enough turps. ![]() Once all the paint has dissolved, there should be a layer of turps on the palette. Use the entire toilet roll to soak this up, turning the roll for each stroke. Pretty quick, eh? Just remember to use enough turps, if the paint is smudging on your palette then you need to use more turps. If you enjoyed these hints & tips, please don't forget to sign our guestbook.
