You are sitting on the spacious veranda with it's high thatched roof, it is nearing sunset and the waiter has just brought you a sundowner drink. As you put your feet up to enjoy the tranquil sunset, you take a moment to savour your surroundings....

The complex is nestled against the craggy Magaliesberg mountains, yet from the main road it cannot be seen. It is as though you are the only person. As you look around your eye meets with a fellow artist and by the look in their eyes you can tell they are thinking the same.

With a smile you continue to look around. In front of you, over the balcony is a lovely grass terrace with a smaller grass thatch lapa and a splash pool. There more fellow artists are relaxing while discussing the day's painting demonstration and their rendition of it. Others have walked down to their suites to cool off in their private lounge after the heat of the afternoons game drive. Beyond the terrace the game fenced bush, inhabited by non-predatory animals (giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, kudu, blesbuck, impala, bushbuck and jackals), teams with bird life.

Looking farther the Hartbeespoort dam glistens with the warm reflecting rays of the setting sun. You breathe in the clean bushveld air and feel as one with your surroundings. Tomorrow on the guided tour you will go bargain hunting at the huge ethnic craft market and visit the elephant sanctuary where you will feed the elephants by hand. Overhead a group of rare Cape Griffon Vultures soar gracefully by.....

- We can accommodate a maximum of 10 couples.
- Accommodation is in luxury suites all with two single beds, en-suite with coffee and tea facilities.
- No self catering facilities available.
- All meals are included even on Wednesday.
- Drinks included are tea, coffee and juice with breakfast.

- Participants will be required to take short walks on some activities.
