 Unfortunately Dennis had the digital camera at his workshop, so we lost out on our pictures. Read on though, there is a surprise coming. Today's workshop was a special request from us as we have always wondered how these stunning poppies are painted. We decided that we want Nolan to demonstrate a section at a time. We painted the background, pot and table, the flowers, then the foliage, with Nolan helping us paint ours in between sections. We had a wonderful time and once we had mastered the impasto technique for the petals, the going was easy. Here is Nolan's completed painting.
