 Still Lifes are always a popular subject to paint, but their subject matter is endless. You can almost take anything and turn it into a still life. With that in mind we started the workshop today with no idea what Dennis had in store for us. We were soon to be pleasantly surprised. Dennis had chosen a group of objects that most people believe to be difficult to paint and demonstrated them to us. Throughout the demonstration we where all absolutely amazed at how easy it is to paint transparent glass, clear glass and copper. It almost looked too good to be true.
Once you know the techniques it is actually a lot less work than you would think to acheive a lot of detail.
